The following policies are specific to our Live & Interactive Events. You will find policies specific to Movies at the 3Below Theaters website here.
Current as of May 1, 2022
As we know you can appreciate, trying to navigate the pandemic while operating a business that has large gatherings of people has been very challenging. We have done all we can to keep our finger on the pulse of what’s happening at federal, state, county, and city levels, offering those who are ready to return to the theater a safe way to do so.
As we endeavor to produce live theater with a company of actors, crew, and staff, we took a moment to examine our policies. The reason for this is that we have had a multitude of requests from prospective ticket buyers, current ticket holders, and indeed the cast and crew themselves citing they’d feel far more comfortable attending and performing live theatre if the vaccination policies we held prior to March 4 were still in effect and that other safety measures be enacted as well.
Therefore, please be advised of the following before you venture to 3Below Theaters for San Jose Playhouse’s production of Man of La Mancha:
COVID-19 Safety Protocol for In-Person Performances Effective March 30, 2022:
UPDATED: Proof of full vaccination and booster (if eligible) will once again be required of all patrons before entering the auditorium. If you are not vaccinated/boosted and have no intention of being vaccinated/boosted prior to the show for which you hold tickets, please contact us immediately and we will work with you on a credit for a future production – when policies may once again be relaxed – or a refund. 3Below Theaters and San Jose Playhouse are fully vaccinated companies with each cast and crew member undergoing weekly testing in addition.
NEW: Masks will be required for all patrons and staff while inside the auditorium where La Cage Aux Folles is being performed. Food and beverages are available in the 3Below Cafe but consumption will only be permitted in the 3Below lobby and in the outdoor courtyard. No food or drinks will be permitted in the theater during the run of La Cage Aux Folles, allowing guests to keep their masks on throughout the performance.
WE ARE CONSTANTLY MONITORING STATE, COUNTY, AND CITY GUIDELINES AND THEREFORE THESE POLICIES WILL LIKELY CHANGE AND EVOLVE OVER TIME BUT PLEASE EXPECT THESE POLICIES TO BE IN PLACE FOR THE RUN OF MAN OF LA MANCHA.
We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining safety at 3Below and San Jose Playhouse. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our policies, please contact us
and we will connect with you as soon as we can.
