Theatre Arts Classes for All Ages in Downtown San Jose

Guggenheim Entertainment is known for developing innovative new works for the stage, and The Schoolhouse classes are a perfect way to get a taste of the magic that goes into creating a musical at one of the most critically acclaimed and award-winning renowned regional theatre companies.

The Schoolhouse at 3Below offers a curriculum designed so students of all ages may develop creative skills, discover new awareness of self-expression, and gain awareness of theatre as a profession.

We are beyond thrilled to announce that we are ready to move back into teaching theatre arts classes now that the pandemic is in its endemic stage. Click the button below for current class offerings OR complete our Class Interest Form to be sure you receive notifications about upcoming classes:

Classes & Programs

We offer quarterly sessions in the fall, winter, spring, and summer. Sessions consist of weekly classes for 10-12 weeks while Programs may run over the course of the full year. Each session we offer classes for youth, students, teens, adults and seniors.

Educators

The Schoolhouse at 3Below Theaters employs professional theatre artists/educators who have extensive theatre backgrounds and experience working with youth, teens, adults, and seniors. Students will have the opportunity to work with seasoned theatre professionals who are committed to providing a safe, risk-free environment in which they can learn and grow.

Showcases

Sessions may end with a Showcase, an informal performance for classmates, family, friends, invited guests and other students giving students the opportunity to display what they have learned before an audience.
